Autumn 2 Map for Beech
What a busy Autumn term!  This week the children have been busy singing, cutting, sewing and making surprises for you.  We hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Thank you to those parents who were able to join us for our class assembly this morning.  We shared our learning in computing where the children created power point presentations linked to our Wild Things topic.  We also retold the silly story 'Stuck' by Oliver Jeffers including our own descriptive vocabulary.
Some special visitors came to assembly.  At first we thought they were scary, but then we got to know them.

This week we had a visitor from Monkey World.  We made some toys for the chimpanzees.

We have been talking and thinking about the soldiers who have been killed or injured in wars.  We made poppies using clay.
Beech class have been reading traditional tales and making up our own endings. What do you think the scariest story character is?  Why?
