Oak Class

The older children work in Oak class which is the second of the original classrooms at the front of the school.

Soon to be refurbished, the room already benefits from an interactive white board and a useful quiet area (originally the entrance to the school many years ago).

Mr Johnson, the class teacher, is assisted by Mrs Madelaine Harvey. The children enjoy a residential trip to Leeson House near Swanage in year 5 and an activity week at Weymouth near the end of year 6.

When the children have completed their end of key stage tests in year 6 they normally transfer to Sturminster Newton High School.
