Our school is very small and while this means that our children learn in small classes, and every child can have an increased individual support, it also means that with very small groups, each child’s results makes a big difference to the percentages.
Our Headteacher Mrs E Peters was appointed in April 2018.
Assessment at Okeford takes many forms: summative and formative. We use a baseline assessment (including reading and spelling ages) to inform us of the child’s current knowledge and understanding; this is coupled with daily formative assessment that guides our in-class shaping of the lessons, planning, feedback and outcomes. Every term, we run summative tests to complement our formative assessments to enable us to make firm, accurate judgments on achievement and attainment. Our data is verified through moderation with local schools and the County trialling sessions.Key Stage 2 2019 assessment data Key Stage 2 2017 assessment data Key Stage 2 2016 assessment data Key Stage 1 & 2 2015 assessment data
